A Quote by Thomas Berry on work, dream, awareness, vision, future, human, project, and transformation

As in creating some significant work the artist first experiences something akin to dream awareness that becomes clarified in the creative process itself, so we must first have a vision of the future sufficiently entrancing that it will sustain us in the transformation of the human project that is now in process.

A Quote by Sumner Davenport on fear, ideas, vision, resilliance self investment, and self help

Never fear having your ideas stolen. Your creative idea is a image you are painting like a picture on a canvas, they may "steal" your idea, however they cannot steal your paints.

A Quote by Lou Gerstner on vision and work

Vision is easy. It's so easy to just point to the bleachers and say I'm going to hit one over there. What's hard is saying, OK, how do I do that? What are the specific programs, what are the commitments, what are the resources, what are the processes we need in play to go implement the vision, turn it into a working model that people follow every day in the enterprise. That's hard work.

A Quote by Yvonne P. Morris on greatness, divinity, love, self esteem, self-acceptance, purpose, potential, and vision

I AM GOD's GREAT IDEA, AND I AM READY TO UNFOLD MY GREATNESS! I take this bold statement of Truth with me every day, and I allow it to become my reality.  I have dared to envision a preferable future.  I get excited just thinking that no matter what I want for myself, it is only a tiny glimpse of what God has in store for me.

A Quote by Rosa Parks on equality, activism, peace, justice, love, vision, courage, inspiration, dreams, and freedom

"I am leaving this legacy to all of you ... to bring peace, justice, equality, love and a fulfillment of what our lives should be. Without vision, the people will perish, and without courage and inspiration, dreams will die-- the dream of freedom and peace.

A Quote by Dee Hock on organization, purpose, principles, mission, and vision

Your organization needs to be absolutely clear about purpose and principles and must be very careful to know what a purpose and a principle is—you know, a purpose is not an objective, it's not a mission statement—a purpose is an unambiguous expression of that which people jointly wish to become. And a principle is not a platitude—it is a fundamental belief about how you intend to conduct yourself in pursuit of that purpose. You have to get very precise about these things. If the purpose and principles are constructive and healthy, then your organization will take a very different form than anything that you ever imagined. It will release the human spirit and will be constructive of the biosphere. Natural capital and human capital will be released in abundance and monetary capital will become relatively unimportant. To put it another way, I believe that purpose and principle, clearly understood and articulated, and commonly shared, are the genetic code of any healthy organization. To the degree that you hold purpose and principles in common among you, you can dispense with command and control. People will know how to behave in accordance with them, and they'll do it in thousands of unimaginable, creative ways. The organization will become a vital, living set of beliefs.
