A Quote by Mr. on answers, religion, path, god, followers, prerequisite, and finding god

Many of us search for the answers, but in truth they are all around us. We don't always know how to home in on them. Religion isn't a prerequisite to finding God. Religion is merely a path but there are many paths. Some may try to tell you that their way is the only way but that is more a device created by people who want to attract and keep followers to a religion than an actual fact.

A Quote by Jon Stewart on religion, homosexuality, choice, human rights, and gay marriage

Religion is far more of a choice than homosexuality. And the protections that we have for religion — we protect religion. And talk about a lifestyle choice — that is absolutely a choice... It’s a travesty that people have forced someone who is gay to have to make their case that they deserve the same basic rights as someone else.

A Quote by unknown on religion, life, peace, acceptance, respect, knowledge, justice, truth, wisdom, and belief

In my lifetime I have learnt that one race is not superior to another.
In my lifetime I have learnt that one sex is not superior to another.
I await the day when one religion is not considered superior  to another.

A Quote by unknown on religion and spirituality

If you take a copy of the Christian Bible and put it out in the wind and the rain, soon the paper on which the words are printed will disintegrate and the words will be gone. Our bible is the wind.

A person has no religion who has not slowly and painfully gathered one together, adding to it, shaping it, and one's religion is never complete and final, it seems, but must always be undergoing modification.

A Quote by Ramona L. Anderson on dream, life, people, place, religion, and time

People spend a lifetime searching for happiness; looking for peace.  They chase idle dreams, addictions, religions, even other people, hoping to fill the emptiness that plagues them.  The irony is the only place they ever needed to search was within.

A Quote by Earon on religion, god, fanaticism, fundamentalism, faith, belief, mind, and consciousness

The rigidity of one's religious beliefs diminishes with the presence of faith.  Fanatacism is a grasping for order in a mind without peace and without faith.
