Soul Olympics, The Greatest Challenge

topic: Personal Growth

Five years ago I began a spiritual journey.  I wanted to know, how can I be happy?  Why am I so unhappy?  I am always struggling and fighting with myself to “get better”.  I had just ended a 7 year relationship and I sold my company.  I had so many questions about what to do and whom to love.  Whom do I want to become?  I felt scared to make the wrong choice and I felt excited about rebuilding my life.  In the midst of all this questioning I began to get answers and signs.  I want to be happy. I want to make a difference and help others.  I want to like myself.  I want to wake up!  What came out of all that questioning and searching were many teachers, many books, many tears, sessions with healers, and conversations with friends.  The product of that searching was the creating of my new business and personal development program, intenSati.  I think the best way to describe it is to say it is the practice of self love and appreciation put into an exercise class.

Today I realize what a gift this inspiration has been to me.  And how by loving yourself and valuing yourself you will hear your truth and you will know that you are valuable and you deserve the best.  By accepting yourself exactly as you — you will begin to accept the best and nothing less.  This is not an overnight shift.  It happens little by little and simply by wanting it and practicing it, it will grow in you and around you.

The main teachings of this practice are:
· You always have a choice
· All you need is within you now to be, do, or have all you want
· What you focus on or intend is what you get
· Your thoughts, words and actions impact the quality of your life, choose them

I feel so blessed to have been inspired to share this workout with you all and I am grateful for all of you who have had the courage to practice it.  The greatest words we can choose are, “I love and accept myself exactly as I am”.  May 2008 be the year of self love and appreciation, the soul olympics.  The greatest challenge of all!
