Recipe: Raw Vegan Energy Balls

Popping in to share a recipe for some healthy, yummy treats. They’re gluten free , dairy free  and vegan . It’s so easy to make snacks that don’t include processed and refined ingredients — and it’s much more fun too!
These raw vegan energy balls  will give you a wonderful boost of energy and nutrients. Look for raw, organic ingredients, and have fun experimenting to your taste!
Throw the nuts, seeds and powder into a food processor and blend until it forms sesame-seed sized chunks. Pit and add the dates and raisins, followed by the juice until you achieve the consistency for rolling balls. (This doesn’t take much depending on the amount of dates you use.) Roll the mixture into balls and refrigerate for at least an hour.
*I’m a major fan of cacao. It’s packed with antioxidants and so good for you. However, you may want to leave it out of this recipe if you’re planning on eating or serving these as an evening dessert; otherwise you might be bouncing around all night!
