Without further delay, here are the Ten Things I Have Learned From the Amazing Race:
Never Give Up (there could always be a team behind you, or you could be in first).
Don't Assume Anything -- Read each clue carefully and completely; Check and double-check directions and the direction in which you are going.
Always Ask for Help (directions, etc.).
Always Say Thank You and Mean It (with a smile, eye contact, a kind word, etc.).
Work together with and support your partner, not against one another.
Enjoy the ride, appreciate each moment of every day.
Learn a foreign language.
Go with your gut/be a leader, not a follower.
Sleep whenever you have the opportunity.
Cheer for everyone else and they will cheer for you.
Pack light.
