Your mind is right now filled with old thoughts. Not only old thoughts, but mostly someone else’s old thoughts. It’s important now, it’s time now, to change your mind about some things. This is what evolution is all about.

One doesn't read poetry while thinking of other things.

It is always the individual who thinks. Society does not think any more than it eats or drinks. The evolution of human reasoning from the naive thinking of primitive man to the more subtle thinking of modern science took place within society. However, thinking itself is always an achievement of individuals.

One thinks but never knows.

In my life there have been several individuals whose presence made it easier for me to think, pleasanter to make my responses.

We think in secret, and it comes to pass. Our environment is but our looking glass.

Think big, think creatively.

Someone once told me that I was a deep thinker, as deep as the ocean, but I replied, no, not even the Universe is deep, it is immeasurable mass and I am only the illusion of a puddle.

A man is not idle because he is absorbed in thought. There is a visible labor and there is an invisible labor.
