We don't need women. There are plenty other things in the world to have sex with, just go to a sexaholics meeting and take notes. There's microwaved watermelons. There's the vibrating handles of lawn mowers right at crotch level. There's vacuum cleaners and beanbag chairs. Internet sites. All those old chat room sex hounds pretending to be sixteen-year-old girls. For serious, old FBI guys makes the sexiest cyberbabes.

Sex is great, addictive, pleasureful and blurs the mind and you capability to make objective decisions, luckily, so is religion. Is that why most religious people are so strait-laced about sex?

Sex, drugs, and insanity have always worked for me, but I wouldn't recommend them for everyone.

You do not find love; you decide to love.  Love does not happen to you; it happens in you. The risk of love is declaring that you have decided to love.  Your heart is open and you are exposed, hoping only for mercy from your beloved.

The duty of love proceeds from logic.  A fundamental truth of love is that it is always for creation. It is also a fundamental truth of lovers that they can never know what is best for their beloved.  Therefore the harsh duty of love is to let go.

That "ol' black magic" is a fickle force. The chemistry of romantic love can trigger the chemistry of sexual desire and the fuel of sexual desire can trigger the fuel of romance. This is why it is dangerous to copulate with someone with whom you don't wish to become involved. Although you intend to have casual sex, you might just fall in love.

There's magic to love... Millions of years ago we evolved three basic drives: the sex love, romantic love, and attachment to a long-term partner. These circuits are deeply embedded in the human brian. They're going to survive as long as our species survive on what Shakespeare called, this "mortal coil."

It is flat-out strange that something--that anything--is happening at all. There was nothing then a Big Bang, then here we all are. This is extremely weird.

But violence does not equal aggression, and our sex need not follow our mistaken model of violence. There are, after all, different kinds of violence. There is the necessary violence of survival, of the killing of one's food, whether that food is lettuce, onion, duck, or deer. Then there are senseless forms of violence so often perpetuated by our culture: child abuse, rape, military or economic genocide, factory farms, industrial forestry, commercial fishing. But violence also can be like sex: a sacramental, beautiful,  and sometimes bittersweet interaction.
