A Quote by Chris Langan on science, intelligence, god, creation, evolution, nature, universe, and religion

I believe in the theory of evolution, but I believe as well in the allegorical truth of creation theory. In other words, I believe that evolution, including the principle of natural selection, is one of the tools used by God to create mankind. Mankind is then a participant in the creation of the universe itself, so that we have a closed loop. I believe that there is a level on which science and religious metaphor are mutually compatible.

A Quote by Kedar on god, man, humanity, sin, pain, misery, religion, christ, krishna, questioner, philosophy, semi-solipsism, vanity, vile, existence, and uqv theory

If God were to exist for the entire humanity, he would be profoundly vile, as he allows the existence of unfathomable sin, stupidity, madness, and misery for no reason than his own despicable enjoyment. God exists though, not for all humanity, but for a one chosen man - a philosopher - who is bound to answer the greatest philosophical question, the question about the nature of the questioner's existence, which progressively quenches the divine vanity.

The ultimate human goal is faith without belief.  Beliefs can mislead us, but faith is the pure, deep well that knows no bounds.

A Quote by Eleanor Roosevelt on nationality, religion, and faith

The important thing is neither your nationality nor the religion you professed, but how your faith translated itself in your life.

A Quote by C. W. Leadbeater on avatars, religion, supermen, prophet, teacher, divine, life, buddha, rishi, saint, spirit, and theosophy

The records of every great religion show the presence of such Supermen, so full of the Divine Life that again and again they have been taken as the very representatives of God Himself.

A Quote by Sage Vasishtha on acquire, shun, jivanmukta, liberated, person, bliss, religion, duty, self-knowledge, essential, nature, and restless

Such a person has nothing to acquire, nor anything to shun. He is untainted by the defects of life, untouched by its sorrow.

He does not come into being nor go out, though he appears to come and go in the eyes of the beholder.

Even religious duties are found to be unnecessary. …His mind has given up its restlessness, and he rests in the bliss that is his essential nature. Such bliss is possible only by self-knowledge, not by any other means. Hence, one should apply oneself constantly to self-knowledge–this alone is one's duty.
