Did you feel hurt by what he said? Probably.
Was it his 'fault' that you were hurt? No.
Was he the 'cause' of your hurt? No.
He simply 'reminded' you of your 'pre-existing' sensitivity.
Be thankful for people like him.

Breath or oxygen can release the physical tension
which results from friction against nerve endings.
The deeper the breath, the better the outcome or result.
