A Quote by unknown on happiness and path

The path that leads to happiness is so narrow that two can't walk on it unless they become one.

A Quote by Helen Schucman on decisions, effort, god, learning, quiet, and path

When you have learned how to decide with God all decisions become as easy and as right as breathing. There is no effort and you will be led as gently as if you were being carried down a quiet path in summer.

A Quote by unknown on path

in

It floats around, it's got to land on somebody. It was my turn, that's all. I was in the path of the tornado. I didn't expect the storm would last as long as it has.

A Quote by unknown on mountains and path

Nobody trips over mountains. It is the small pebble that causes you to stumble. Pass all the pebbles in your path and you will find you have crossed the mountain.

A Quote by unknown on chance, desires, mistakes, mortality, possibility, power, and path

It is nothing less than fantastic the way mathematical odds add up. For instance take the possibility of making a mistake in making a telephone call. Most local exchanges require seven digits, which is accomplished in four or five seconds. The phone has ten digits on it. The mathematical formula of possibilities is ten to the seventh power, which is 10,000,000, or it is 9,999,999 to 1 that you would enter a wrong number if you didn't know what you were doing. Add the four digits to get a long distance number and it becomes 100,000,000,000. Mortality, which fortunately lasts for most of us many times that four or five seconds that it takes to place a telephone call, is also full of chances to make mistakes. Fortunately, too, the path through mortality is well marked, and we can, with exercising care, get to where we all desire to be at the end of mortality.

A Quote by unknown on day, destiny, family, friendship, heart, love, mind, peace, truth, and path

If you begin the day with love in your heart, peace in your nerves, and truth in your mind, you not only benefit by their presence but also bring them to others, to your family and friends, and to all those whose destiny draws across your path that day.

A Quote by unknown on children, contentment, friendship, time, understanding, wishes, and path

"The road is too rough, dear Lord," I cried, "There are stones that hurt me so." "My child," He said, "I understand, I walked it long ago." "But there's a cool green path ahead, Let me walk there for a time." "No child," He gently answered me, "The green road does not climb." "My burden," I cried, "is far too great. How can I bear this load?" "Dear One," said He, "I remember its weight-I carried my cross, you know." "But," I said, "I wish there were friends with me, that would make their way my own." "Oh yes," He said, "Gethsemane was hard to bear alone." And so I climbed the stony path, Content at least to know That where the Master had not gone, I would not have to go. And strangely then I found new friends, My burdens grew less sore, As I remembered long ago He walked that way before.

A Quote by unknown on garden, obstacles, power, wisdom, and path

In our gardens, Lord Ganesha sends His power through fruits and vegetables, the ones that grow above the ground, to permeate our nerve system with wisdom, clearing obstacles in our path when eaten. The growers of them treat it like they would care for Ganesha in His physical form.

A Quote by unknown on endurance, friendship, god, heart, justice, love, soul, sympathy, trouble, and path

When trouble comes your soul to try, You love the friend who just "stands by. Perhaps there is nothing he can do- The thing is strictly up to you; For there are troubles all your own, And paths the soul must tread alone; Times when love can't smooth the road Nor friendship lift the heavy load, But just to know you have a friend Who will "stand by" until the end, Whose sympathy, through all endures, Whose warm handclasp is always yours- And so with fervent heart you cry, "God bless the friend who just 'stands by'."
