The brick walls are there for a reason. Right? The brick walls are not there to keep us out, the brick walls are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something. Because the brick walls are there to stop the people who don't want it badly enough.
The obstacles to the growth of intuitive knowledge are:
• Eagerness for results • Use of the imagination, whether intellectually or emotionally • Intrusion of irrelevant thoughts during meditation • Ingratitude and skepticism when intuitive perceptions cannot yet be understood intellectually • Self-complacency and unwillingness to confess mistakes
