There are two kinds of power. One is actual power. The other is perceived power. Actual power is conferred by status or position in a given society. Those who have perceived power often do not have actual power but have the confidence of the masses. The right person with perceived power can have a profound affect on the will of The People. This, in time, can force the will of the powerful to bend. . Those with actual power have money and weapons and armies to back up their power. Those with perceived power are merely backed up by a thought. That thought however, can defeat armies, make weapons useless and money obsolete because armies and weapons and money cannot stop a great thought or a great idea once it begins to take hold.
