Light

Earth and sea merged, the sea tossed itself in the air
in a fantastic dance, into the shapes of men
and horses and tattered banners.
I stood in the lee of an overhanging rock
and thought of many things.

the whole world, wide
grazing land, the open spaces
wind across the land
and the sky, blue, high

Over lowland, over snow and tundra
span arches, raised by the rising sun.
See: the light is winning!
And the stream is streaming
towards open minds
and towards seeds dreaming
of growth.

Here comes the sun from its
night-shelter, here glides the light

gossamer-soft over the hills here
comes the day like an exquisite gift,

a wide-awake clearness all around, here
comes the sun and lights up

a myriad colours, entices
all that grows out of night and sleep,

here comes a tiny
morning cloud, here comes the light

Brigid has been known by many names: Brigit, Brig, Bride, Brigantia, Saint Brigid, and Mary of the Gael.  But no name encapsulates her personality as well as the term Breo Saighead (or Breo Aigit), meaning "fiery arrow or power."  Although this term was thought to be the root source of Brigid's name (as stated in the ninth-century book Cormac' Glossary), modern scholars have proven this early etymology to be based on folk legends and rumors rather than on scholarly sources.  Yet the term Breo Saighead will not go away.  It remains with this powerful triple goddess of the fire, as she inspires, transforms, and heals.  Brigid is the force behind grand ideas and simple comforts.  She is direct, quick, enlightening, and enlivening.  She is the shaft of lightning or the glowing candle that illuminates our world.  Fast, furious, bold, and strong, she arrives quickly and departs just as fast, leaving behind a brighter mind or soul or heart.  Brigid's gifts lie not in what she brings to you, but rather in casting light on what you can bring to the world.

The greatest life one can have is of service. Give joy, happiness, bliss, laughter, wisdom, prosperity, love & light to others. By doing so, you tap into the Infinite Source within ensuring that you will never have to do without these "treasures" yourself!

People are like stained-glass windows.  They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in their true beauty is revealed only if there is light from within.

This place of mine
never is entered by humans
come for conversation,
only by the mute moon's light shafts
that slip in between the trees.

Let today be a day of joy and blessings where dreaming the impossible becomes our reality. A day where we walk with angels through a lush garden of bliss where we lift our hearts high that all may see its beauty as we set our souls of fire with love and compassion for all. Let us today embrace heavens glory and seek to touch every soul in a way that bathes them in holy light and liberates their spirit.
