Do what you're doing while you're doing it.

Men must be decided on what they will not do, and then they are able to act with vigor on what they ought to do.

There is great power in focusing on what you want..... The person who tries to do everything accomplishes nothing. Most people try to be all things to everyone. And so they end up being nothing to anyone. Confucius nailed the point: "Person who chases two rabbits catches neither."

The artist doesn't have time to listen to the critics. The ones who want to be writers read the reviews, the ones who want to write don't have time to read reviews.

"Wherever you focus your mind that is where you will be."

Everything that you are against works against you.  Everything that you are against can be restated in a way that puts you in support of something.  When you are able to state what you are for rather than what you are against, you are focusing on the potential for positive change.  Once that is in place, you will find whatever you are focusing on expanding.

Nature is a labyrinth in which the very haste you move with will make you loose your way.

The right kind of focus is a lot like a laser – a concentrated beam of light. Shine this light only on areas of your business life that make sense.

Deadlines give you focus. Greet them as such and then make sure you can meet them.

If you need to focus on a project, make sure to limit your multitasking.
