Large firms have organization charts and this too often shapes the social hierarchy of a company, and that can unfortunately impact the romantic possibilities within the workplace.
From a company’s perspective, founders are unique individuals – the creators – but so too are the managers during different stages of its growth.
It takes a special type of person to stand in the room and describe how to create things in the future.
It takes a special type of person who can figure out the daily puzzle of how to make the future unfold profitably.
Founders have to be embraced and empowered within the organization, but their strengths have to be strategically channeled.
Someone probably came up with the same idea long before the founder ever did, but he happened to be in the right place at the right time.
Just because your idea is now generating revenue isn’t everlasting proof that you will always be right.
It is often prudent to release your creativity only when the organization is in a position to be receptive to your ideas.
It is extremely difficult to pay attention to people who are stuck on repeat.
