Don't grieve. Anything you lose comes round in another form.

This is love: to fly toward a secret sky, to cause a hundred veils to fall each moment. First to let go of life. Finally, to take a step without feet.

Love is the Water of Life Everything other than love for the most beautiful God is agony of the spirit, though it be sugar- eating. What is agony of the spirit? To advance toward death without seizing hold of the Water of Life.

Every tree and plant in the meadow seemed to be dancing, those which average eyes would see as fixed and still.

We can't help being thirsty, moving toward the voice of water. Milk drinkers draw close to the mother. Muslims, Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, shamans, everyone hears the intelligent sound and moves with thirst to meet it.

Drum sound rises on the air, its throb, my heart. A voice inside the beat says, I know you're tired, but come. This is the way.

Out beyond ideas of right-doing and wrong-doing there is a field. I'll meet you there.

Look at these worlds spinning out of nothingness. That is within your power.

If thou wilt be observant and vigilant, thou wilt see at every moment the response to thy action. Be observant if thou wouldst have a pure heart, for something is born to thee in consequence of every action.

The breeze at dawn has secrets to tell you. Don't go back to sleep. You must ask for what you really want. Don't go back to sleep. People are going back and forth across the door sill where two worlds touch. The door is round and open. Don't go back to sleep.
