Lao-Tzu

It is as though he listened
and such listening as his enfolds us in silence
in which at last we begin to hear
what we are meant to be.

When you extend your goodwill in every direction, regardless of circumstances, you begin to see that we are all one. 

To lead people, walk beside them ...
As for the best leaders, the people do not notice their existence.
The next best, the people honor and praise.
The next, the people fear;
and the next, the people hate ...
When the best leader's work is done the people say,
"We did it ourselves!"

I am not at all interested in immortality, only in the taste of tea.

The journey is the reward.

We look at it and we do not see it;
Its name is The Invisible.
We listen to it and we do not hear it;
Its name is The Inaudible.
We touch it and do not find it;
Its name is The Subtle.
