A Quote by Boyd K. Packer on beginning, belief, birth, ideas, life, and mortality

The idea that life began with mortal birth is preposterous. There is no way to explain life if you believe that.

A Quote by Boyd K. Packer on anxiety, challenge, day, depression, disappointment, failure, good, life, purpose, struggle, and suffering

It was meant to be that life would be a challenge. To suffer some anxiety, some depression, some disappointment, even some failure is normal. Teach our members that if they have a good, miserable day once in a while, or several in a row, to stand steady and face them. Things will straighten out. There is great purpose in our struggle in life.

A Quote by Boyd K. Packer on protest and worry

Somewhere there is a message in the protest of the man who said, "You can't tell me that worry doesn't help. The things I worry about never happen."

A Quote by Boyd K. Packer on ancestry, birth, children, fatherhood, generations, god, heaven, mind, mortality, nobility, people, spirit, and truth

You are a child of God. He is father of your spirit. Spiritually you are of noble birth, the offspring of the King of Heaven. Fix that truth in your mind and hold to it. However many generations in your mortal ancestry, no matter what race or people you represent, the pedigree of your spirit can be written on a single line. You are a child of God!

A Quote by Boyd K. Packer on debt, justice, learning, life, and purity

Justice can seem to be so very demanding. But we must learn that when we put everything as right as we can put it right, it is Justice who invokes the Atonement, orders the adversary off our property, and posts the notice that his agents will make no more collections from us. Our debt will have been paid in full by the only perfect pure person who ever lived.

Seek worthy companions. Attend church faithfully. Never fail daily to seek for help through prayer. And I promise you that the way will be easier and you shall have a composure of mind and a confident attitude toward life and the future. You shall be warned of dangers and shall be guided through the whisperings of the Holy Spirit.

A Quote by Boyd K. Packer on faith, miracles, patience, and people

Some people think a miracle is only a miracle if it happens instantaneously, but miracles can grow slowly and patience and faith can compel things to happen that otherwise never would have come to pass.

A Quote by Boyd K. Packer on needs

in

I went before the Lord and in essence said, I'm not neutral and you can do with me what you want. If you need my vote, it's there. I don't care what you do with me, and you don't have to take anything from me because I will give it to you - everything, all I own, all I am.
