Colleen (my teaching partner and wife) and I have always been shy about promoting ourselves. I know it may be hard to believe, but it’s true. At yoga retreats we never put out flyers, DVDs, audio programs or books. But for the first time we are compelled to announce loud and clear the launch of the Gaiam Yoga Club. This online yoga program, delivered via the Internet, has us so excited that we feel we must do it justice and promote it!
We’ve created a 12-week course that teaches you how to design your own home practice. When you are alone on your mat, you begin to truly understand yoga and real insights occur. But, it can be intimidating to practice on your own. This program is designed to help you transition into home study.
Each week you receive one online video and five downloadable audios with printable pose guides. In the video, Colleen and I go over all the week’s poses — giving you three variations and in-depth instructions for each pose. Once you reach weeks 10-12, we focus on sequencing principles via downloadable podcasts. We start from the beginning for the complete novice, though even the experienced student will find the content engaging and informative.
Colleen and I will be blogging and chatting online with you throughout the program. But more importantly, you will gain access to a yoga community that will support you in your commitment to deepen your yoga practice.
