“I Celebrate Now”: How to Stay Positive in Trying Times

I have been sharing this with many people, but I have not yet shared it with you, though some of you may already know: I am pregnant. I am 16 weeks pregnant, and I am obviously thrilled. The first few months were a combination of excitement, joy and also worry if it would really be real this time!

Over the past months, I have had to call on all my Sati powers to keep my mind out of the worry state and keep myself appreciating and allowing all to unfold in a perfect way. Some days, it was easier said than done. So, I created a series that was for me and for anyone who is in the middle of a challenging situation where you feel that you really want something, but you are almost not allowing yourself to enjoy it, celebrate it or affirm it because you are not SURE yet.

Well, I just want to remind everyone that we have a big part in this co-creating process and, when we allow ourselves to be immersed in fear and worry, we are becoming part of the problem and not the solution. Our job is to continually affirm a positive outcome, see it as if it is already done and simply let go and let it be. When we can really celebrate the outcome before we see physical evidence of it, our faith grows stronger.

So remember:

  • Know what outcome you want; don’t be part of the problem, but part of the solution.
  • See it as done in your mind, then allow it to manifest in the perfect time and way.
  • Celebrate NOW! Live as if you know it is done.
  • Our life is a self-fulfilling prophecy; keep your dream alive in your heart and mind.
  • Be happy today. There is no happy ending at the end of an unhappy journey. Today matters!

It’s 2010; if not now, when? Let’s celebrate and make it a great day. What better way than the intenSati move HAPPY to the affirmation: “I celebrate now.” Circle your arms away from you in giant, sweeping arcs as you alternate kicking yourself in the butt and say out loud “I celebrate now” for every two arm circles.

Happiness is a choice; practice choosing it every day. Feel the joy circling your arms in the air; the kick in the butt is the reminder to have fun and stop complaining! Try this move for one to three minutes whenever you feel frustrated, but also try this move when you do something great for yourself or change a bad habit and work toward your highest potential!

Update from L.A.

I am still in L.A. for 10 more days, and I want them to go very slowly. The weather is amazing and just being in this warm, sunny place makes me feel happier and healthier. I am thrilled with the continued excitement building around the intenSati practice here in L.A.. Leader training is just about to begin, and we have 10 new leaders that will be trained to lead intenSati here in L.A. to keep the momentum going.
