Commitment to Change

This month, I’m focusing on is commitment. Have you taken any time recently to stop and ask yourself: Am I really committed to living a life I love? Sit back and take a look and your life, your body, your state of mind, and you will have your answer. Your life is a reflection of all of your thoughts and beliefs. If you really want something and you are committed to it and you have faith, you will have it.
If you aren’t living a life you love in a body you love where are you settling and where are you willing to change? Ask yourself this, what is one thing I could do now to feel better? Can I do it? Will I do it? No one is born living an extraordinary life, you have to want it, commit to it and fully expect to succeed. It’s a practice, a daily practice of conscious living! Take some time today to see what direction your life is going. Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result is insanity. What you focus on you get! Commit!
Here are some fun ways you can change things up so you get a different out come from your workout. Take a class you have never taken before, research shows that you actually can create new brain cells by challenging yourself in new ways! If you are used to doing a class in the same spot, all the time, stand in a different place in the room. Having to look at the leader from the opposite side requires that you concentrate a little bit more. Try a sport you haven’t tried and enjoy the process of learning. You also burn more calories when you are learning a new skill because your body is not on automatic. Bottom line, if you want a different outcome you have to be willing to change. Commit to change and everything gets easier.
