What Are You Afraid Of?
If you knew you could handle anything that came your way, what would you possibly have to fear? Nothing! Absolutely nothing.
I am always faced with the fear of failure because I’m always wanting to try new things and do more than I have done before. But all you have to do to handle fear is build trust in your ability to handle whatever comes your way!
Where are you stuck in your life? What fears are holding you back from doing what you really want to do? You can get paralyzed by your fear or you can step out of your comfort zone.
One of the things I teach is personal power—your ability to get yourself (not others) to do what you really want to do. When you shift your focus from “What if I fail?” to “What do I want?” or “How will it feel when I succeed?” you move from fear to personal power.
Here’s a simple exercise that can help you do this: When you feel paralyzed by fear, stop and ask yourself, “What am I afraid of?” After everything you list in your mind, say to yourself, “I’ll handle it.”
Fear feels very much the same as excitement. When you feel fear, just change the words from “I am afraid …” to “I am excited.” The thoughts we think are what cause the feelings of fear. Own your power and choose a better-feeling thought. Then taking action can move you immediately to a place of power. (Try this other great exercise to help you overcome fear of taking that action.)
When you say YES to any situation, you open the door to accessing your personal power. Say yes to your life as it is and the power you have within to handle anything that comes your way. If you commit to owning the power of your thoughts, you can transform your life and your body. If you want more information check out intensati.com.
Live a life you love in a body you love now!
