Happy New Year! Isn’t it wonderful that we all get to start a new time in our lives? This is the perfect time to open to the emerging “you”!

As I was doing my morning practice, I began to envision my new year. During my meditation I called in the life I want to create this year. I don’t like goal-setting and resolutions because I do not believe they create enough synergy for my life. I like the possibilities that come in the forms of what I am creating and manifesting through the expansion of my consciousness. Moving into a new year from that place allows me to fully understand that I am “creating” the life that I live.

We often find ourselves “asking” for expansion. We ask for expansion into a more powerful way of living and being; expansion in our thinking; expansion in our abundance and affluence; expansion in our relationships. The interesting thing to me is that when we are in a space of desiring expansion, we don’t often consider the totality of what that means.

Dear Arielle & Brian,

I am 46 years old and am working on manifesting in my life my ideal soulmate. I know others who have found love through dating Web sites, but I’ve chosen to work on the Law of Attraction, which I discovered last year. I’m very clear about what I’m looking for in a woman. My biggest deficit is I’ve yet to experience a romantic relationship in my life. I’ve been working doing the suggested “feelingizations” and creating space. Yet I really don’t know how to start taking action or what I can do to manifest that special woman.

During the past year I have done many of your suggested soulmate manifestation exercises, however, I still haven’t been able to emotionally pull the cord from my past relationship with Doug. We dated for a few months and then transitioned to just “good friends” because I’m not physically attracted to him and no longer wanted to be physically intimate with him. I care deeply for him and truly enjoy our time together as friends. I feel my heart is very connected to his but I can’t seem to resolve this past relationship and move on in peace. If you have any advice I would appreciate it!

Here’s what I know for sure: Finding true love is possible for anyone at any age if you’re willing to prepare your self, on all levels, to become a magnet for love.

This wonderful Universe of ours is set up to deliver the people and things we draw to us that are consistent with our personal belief system. If you don’t believe you will ever find the ONE, then, guess what? You get to be right … you probably won’t.

I have a question for you I am hoping you can clarify. I have placed my order with the Universe for a soulmate. I’ve noticed that many people manifest at different time frames, some very fast, while others take a long time. It’s been more than a year since I placed my order and my soulmate has still not arrived. Does this mean that I am doing something wrong, or the Universe feels I am not ready? Any help would be appreciated. I am stumped on this.

Dear Isabel,

Why would you assume you are doing something wrong? Opening your heart and life to manifesting a soulmate requires patience because when your will and God’s will align, that is what we call Divine Timing.

Part of creating prosperity in your life is learning how to ask the right questions. Our early life experiences often lead us to focus on limited questions like these:

• How can I survive?
• How can I get even?
• How can I get by?
• How can I hide so nobody sees me?
• How can I get people to love me?

There’s a lot of information about conscious manifestation, but hardly anybody ever talks about how unconscious manifestation works. Here’s the way it looks to me. Without realizing it, we draw experiences and people to us unconsciously and interact with them in programmed ways.
