We often confuse sharing with giving. Giving is connected to things and is often mixed up with our definition of what we “need.” It can appear in many forms, but often it is very much attached to our identity. But sharing is heart-centered and not attached to the material world.

We get snarky, we lash out, we turn on the waterworks and display a host of other behaviors better suited to the Terrible Twos than, say, a holiday dinner at the adult table.
