I liked this entry as well. :) I was profoundly changed in many different ways through this experience and it's even greater to see how many others' lives have been changed as well. I have grown in my profession but also grown hugely as a person through this experience. Truly, to give selflessly makes you *really* be able to receive graciously too. Since this experience, I have felt more love from everyone around me than I ever did before. I think it's because I'm now able to wholly receive that love. I am doing yoga every day now and I have a mission to become a certified Urban Zen Intigrative Therapist. So, when the program is all laid out, please keep me posted as I really want to follow this "PATH". I really believe in this and I want to see it continue. I am so glad, too, that things could be done more permanently for New Orleans. I am also grateful for my new friends down there!!! I agree with His Holiness in that "the way to eternal happiness is to serve your fellow human being". That's how I felt during this experience and ever since - happy!

Right on Rodney~
Great entry
I am thrilled to hear that something permanant could be created in new Orleans and would love to see that happen and/or be involved in creating that. New orleans changed me deeply~ I have written an article about my experience in New Orleans with Urban Zen and am seeking publishing opportunities~ Any ideas?
Our group photo is great ~ notice how happy averyone feels after our two day marathon! Selfless service heals!
namaste

We are several people of color wanting Rodney and others producers to understand how much we NEED to JUST see Rodney... a man of color in the yoga videos. No offense to the other people in his video..but it is PAINFUL for us to try to heal and never get to just have a healing space for people of color.

When we go to buy yoga videos..we don't get to see enough people of color represented. It is hard enough to see yoga being coopted while the the original yoga masters suffer hunger with their people whose counries continue to be exploited. It was so healing for so many of us to finally see an Asian man get represented in this artform. Please start having more people of color in these videos. Thank you
