Sometimes the problem lies within ourselves. We tend to often block out things in our past or things we actually believe about ourselves which in reality are not true. Though untrue, our thoughts can have an incredible impact on our behavior and what we do and don't attract.

A great way to get to know yourself and see what thoughts you are thinking (whether they are positive or negative) is meditating. The act of meditation allows you to become more in tune with yourself. In that sense, you are enabled to see the thoughts that you think as you are thinking them and to control your mind instead of it controlling you and your emotions and behavior.

You'll see that meditating also makes you feel more compassionate for yourself and to others. This compassion reflects in your attitude and behavior and attracts good and positive people and potential mates in to your life.
