America’s 10 Best Eco-Neighborhoods

As the real estate meltdown continues to deepen, some places may hold their value better than others. Perhaps those communities that were designed to be green will be among the best- they cost less to operate, and are designed more densely to make it easy to get around without a car. (Treehugger)

America’s Nastiest Toxic Waste Dumps (And Whether Or Not You Live Near One)

What do you wear when you wanna dress to the nines (to fives)?

A Greener Kitchen Needs Composting (Let it rot!)

When food biodegrades, it makes a great fertilizer for your plants. Think about all those fruit and vegetable scraps, coffee grounds, lettuce and dead flowers you see daily. There’s no good reason for that to take up space in a landfill. The less we all send to the landfill, the longer it stays open. The longer its open, the less need we have to find somewhere else in town to build a new landfill in someone’s backyard. (Enviromedia)

  1. Thanks for putting up that iYogaLife.com article! I wish I had it a few weeks ago when there was a guy in my yoga class that I was interested in. Never even talked to him because I didn’t want to be out of line and, of course, he hasn’t been back to class in a while!
