That statement has been moving through my mind for the past several weeks as I read comments on social media and hear so many people feeling helpless and disillusioned. It’s clear to me that we are living in a time of extreme opposites. There are people doing extraordinary work to bring peace and consciousness to the planet, while at the same time there are also people committed to war and violence.
The real question for me is “How do I want to respond and live?” I believe that we are either part of the problem or we are part of the solution. I also believe that our words have power and that what we put out in the universe eventually returns to us in some form.
So instead of being upset about the state of the world, I have decided to do something, and I would like you to join me.
On September 22, 2012, I will be launching the Global Blessing Blog. My intention is to invite 50,000 people from all over the world to become a voice for good, love, peace and harmony. You are cordially invited to join and bring your voice to create a shift on this planet. Anyone can post, as long as they agree to only post blessings. The possibilities are endless: Bless our planet, our children, animals, leaders, corporations or the environment. I especially invite you to post blessings for people or things that challenge or annoy you.
The beautiful thing about this project is that we don’t have to have to come from the same culture or have the same religious or political beliefs to unite as a global community. We can speak as one voice for healing, harmony and peace.
There is a lot of talk about the end of the Mayan Calendar on December 21, 2012. We will be posting through that day, and wouldn’t it be wonderful if together we created an “energy vortex” that was so powerful that December 22 became a time of emergence and new birth?
To post a blessing, visit the Global Blessing Blog at globalblessingblog.com. I look forward to seeing your posts and joining you in “being the change.”
Please affirm with me: Today, I commit to becoming a powerful voice for love, peace, joy and freedom. I am willing to be the change I want to see in the world.
